Mk5 Golf Plus not starting.

My Golf Plus has been standing for a couple of weeks so had to put the charger on it this morning. I then started it and left it idling for about 20mins. When I came back it had stalled and would not start although turned over on the crank easily. I tried putting a gallon of fuel in it in case fuel gauge faulty but still no luck. Any ideas where I can start please?

I have seen this happen a few times, once to a local garage who had just done the cam belt on a 2L BKD engine, they left it running to warm up whilst they did other jobs and it stopped, like yours it would not start. They dragged it over to us and no codes, good cranking RPM BUT the key point was it would not run on a sniff; I knew straight away what it would be and so I popped the turbo inlet hose off and found the turbo was seized.
