Hi - I had MOT few days back and it passed. Audi dealer advised to change front and back disc/pads urgently and quoted 1800£. There is no lights on dashboard. He says 90% worn verbally. Any local independent audi specalist recommendations in Welwyn/Hatfield. I am not sure which parts to order as there are many choices .

    VIN - WAUZZZFYOL2044259

    Thanks in advance

If you find someone to do the work I suggest you let them supply the parts, trying to get a garage to fit your own parts is a quick way to **** them off.

    The VIN is WAUZZZFY0L2044259

    Front disc
    8W0 615 301 AB

    Front pads
    80A 698 151 F

    Front pad (left) contact
    80A 615 121 A

    Rear discs
    8W0 615 601 E

    Rear pads
    8W0 698 451 BG

    Rear (right) contact
    80A 615 121

I f the suggested replacement is due to wear, the warning light would need to be on so I can’t see 90% being accurate and if that worn, the MOT tester should have picked up on it.
