Presume if I buy ready mixed G12 evo this can be readily used in older 2013 passat which used to have g12 and the g12 Evo will replace G13 LL ok.
Sorry as Im sure been asked before.

If it is given a good flush and blow clear to remove as much trace of tap water as possible, then fine. On sensitive cars like MQB platform we even fill with distilled water and blow through again to get as much out as possible.

With the MQB heater matrix I would get as much G13 and possible tap water out of there as possible.

But I’d be better to top up with G12evo than ready mixed G13 ??
Or continue topping up G13 with r/mixed G13 then swap the log of g12 evo with a flush .
    Hoping that’s right .
Don’t think g12evo and g13 will turn coolant brown either ??

Should be OK, I just don't like mixing fluids.
