S-Tronic Question

Hi folks. Advice request. I have a 2010 3.0 tdi A5 with the 7 speed S-Tronic auto box. Recently it’s been getting jerky when slowing down, changing from 2nd to 1st and then when I stop. Also had gearbox malfunction warning a couple of times which disappears after a few seconds. Always happens at the start of my journey. No codes when I scan. Is my mechatronic unit starting to give up or does my box need a service. The service history (note in the service book but no receipt) says it was done about 5000 miles ago but I can’t guarantee that’s correct. If the unit does need work any recommendations for somewhere in east anglia. I’m based in Ipswich. Thanks

What is the VIN and the code reader you are using?

VIN Number is WAUZZZ8F1AN013688 and I'm using the Carista bluetooth scanner which I know is only very basic.

It has the 0B5 box which is terrible, you could invest in an oil and filter change (7 litres of G 052 529 A2) and if that fails to help, get rid of it. There is no way I would put a special order Vehicle Intelligent Part mech into a 0B5 at £3942 as it could be any one of the parts including many you cannot buy, then you are stuck with a £4k door stop and still in for a new Audi box (they won't recondition these units, only new) at £11694 as these are also a VIP and come with a new mech.
