Strange problem with air intake and coolant temperature

I have a strange problem with 1.4 16v gti 1998 AFH engine. On group 001 field 2 there should be coolant temperature and on group 002 field 4 air temperature. But here they change the places. Also on group 001 field 4 should be all zeroes when coolant is under 80 degrees and if temperature is over 80 degrees last zero should be 1, but also work in reverse order. What can be the problem and how to solve?

Takes me back, Mrs Crasher bought one of these brand new back in 98, in the UK it wasn't badged as a GTI just 16v.

Well, here I have lot to check. Only one more question. I can't locate Earth point on engine block. Can you please tell me where is located?

If I understand the table on page 4, the last digit in group 001 when the coolant temperature is below 80 degrees should stay "1"???? Is that correct? I read some file Self studying program 049 and there was in reverse, It says that should be "0" when the coolant is below 80 degrees. Unfortunately I can't upload picture ☹️

Setting conditions are all 0's it is explained at the end under "Significance of numbers in 8 digit number block"

My question is - all zeroes when the coolant is below or under 80 degrees. In adjustment condition on page 4 says "coolant temperature below 80 degrees" and in table stay "1". Also, when I read group 001 in measurement block on VAG on field 2 where coolant temperature value is shown first come -40 degrees and next second change to some normal value.
