I may have to drop the subframe on the above car, changing out an exhaust temperature sensor after the dpf has turned into a bit of a nightmare, the threads have galled up and access isnt great.
Im awaiting an M14 x 1.5 tap and will hope that works but just want to get the sequence right if i need to drop the subframe to remove the dpf completely.
Its the 3 cylinder diesel engine, im unsure on the capacity.
Ive done a 2008 Mk5 Golf before so maybe its very similar?
    Thanks.

All resolved now, no need to drop the subframe, was a pita tapping the threads out but not too bad a job. One of the sensors was a real bitch to get out and felt as if it was going to shear off so beware if your taking on this job.
