[COLOR=var(--primary-text)]Apologies if this was answered elsewhere.... tried searching but to no avail. I am desperate for help to try and understand what part this maybe causing this error (added other info FYI). Any help be a great help and appreciated. Researching this tells me could be NOX sensor, o2 sensor but don't want to throw parts blindly.

ERROR: 17277 (P20EE) – SCR NOx Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1 Catalyst 1

    Freeze frame

    Priority: 2

    Malfunction frequency counter: 1

    Unlearning counter: 255

    Date: 08 Aug 2024 12:22:07 pm

    Engine rpm: 1572.50 RPM

    Normed load value: 81.6 %

    Vehicle speed: 51.0 km/h

    Coolant temperature: 90 °C

    Intake air temperature: 32 °C

    Ambient air pressure: 1000 mbar

    Voltage terminal 30: 12.620 V

    Car: 2015 A6 Allroad 3.0TDI 272.

I research this and it could be a variety of things, just not sure where to start. I rang a garage and they said "most times its the NOX sensor" just thinking if thats usually the cause NO other error on dash etc. I used Carista diagnostics machine and it comes in the Engine Checks (Error 17277) and OBD checks as P20EE.

Sometimes the injection port blocks with crystals on the adblu could be worth checking and cleaning

Thanks dean this be worth doing first i guess. Did you mean the adblue injector? the one which pumps adblue into the system to lower emissions?

Also would these not clear up themselves or really its a manual job? got i wish i never got a adblue car lol

Yeah where the injector goes into the exhaust, and no if they block up they wont self clear,
You might need a metal pick, some bake cleaner and or DPF cleaner, if it is blocked try not to push it into the exhaust get out what you can.
