So I've recently purchased a car privately. It's a 2013 Golf Mk7 1.4 TSi GT. Its been throwing up EPC light randomly. I've taken it to the garage to scan and this is the report I was given. I just want people's advice on here before I ask the garage to diagnose.

Without the VIN it is difficult to be precise but my initial suspicion is a faulty radar sensor in the lower grill, they cause all sorts of odd issues and probaly why the car was sold. Did they clear the codes?

Yes yours does have the early troublesome sensor and probably the reason the car was sold, they often get stolen as replacement is so expensive. We had one in last week where the sensor was loose in its fitting and the car was going loopy. Whichever engineer thought putting a sensitive radar sensor in such a vulnerable position was either stupid or naive.

UPDATE.... so yesterday while sitting in the car listening to the radio, I got a low battery warning. Didn't think much of it and started the car with no issues. Today, same thing happened and this time the battery went flat. Had to jump it to get it going again! So looks like I have a battery issue but reading other posts on this forum, this could be the reason I've been getting the errors? Anyway, new Battery it seems and I should go for a AGM as I have a EFB in there atm?

You managed to get a 027 in the space? You did code it into the battery monitoring unit?
