    I’m having difficulty in sourcing a towbar for my A6 avant 4f c6. Looking for a detachable tow bar to tow my caravan so 13 pin electric vehicle specific electrics

    Have you tried PFJones? I've had a couple of Westfalia towbars and vehicle specific wiring kit from them and had no issues with either. The 2nd wiring kit involved opening up the fuseboxes in the boot to add extra contacts, wires and fuses, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. You might be lucky and have a tow bar connector / extra fuses already built in the loom, if thats the case the tow bar module simply plugs in.
