AC fan not blowing from the dash vents

On my through France, 25C plus and the fan has stopped blowing much air. Also think the unit needs regarding as well so the last few Km have been getting hotter and hotter. Anyone any ideas as to what it could be or where to check?

I've just got back from a similar trip (1200 miles) with the same problem. Turning the compressor off then on again reset the system but it eventually got warmer half hour or so later - it doesn't happen on shorter trips. Local garage has diagnosed a motor that controls the flap up above on the drivers side footwell - will report back with what was done/parts etc, not booked until Oct as getting rear shocks done at the same time....

For those that are interested - it was the temperature regulating valve that was causing these air con issues - part number 5Q0898511K
