    That isn’t the ETKA diagram so not sure. There is setup and coding and this can be tricky for revised controllers without the dealer system ODIS so an Audi dealer or VAG specialist like us who have full ODIS access.

    Thanks for confirming. So I think I will get it recovered to the helpful main dealer and get them to fit it even if it is going to take a bit longer.

    This 50TDI A6 is a wonderful drive and I love driving it, however it is the most unreliable car that I have owned. Is this typical of the A6 C8 or it is because mine is an early built car (with loads of extras) and they had launched it a bit early? And if so are the later A6/S6 more reliable?

    My wife had an early Discovery 3 and that had a number of know issues but Land Rover owned up and fixed them all, and after it was a brilliant car.

    All modern VAG products are unreliable as they are so complex and loaded with tech but air suspension has always been a pain with VAG, I would not own a car with it. Modern cars are becoming so complex and stressful to work on, many old sods like me are either retiring early or refusing the work. Any VAG product launched 2020 onwards could try the patience of a PHD level tech with a masters in software, electronics, mechanics, physics (chemistry would be useful) and a full time stress counselling team on standby!
