    Hi,
Have had a search of the forums and cannot find this problem. I have a 2002 GT TDI 130 with climatronic that works but the lights on the buttons and display doesn't work. I have replaced it with a new unit but still no lights working so this points to wiring or a pin on the multiplug which supplies the lighting. Does anyone have wiring information or what each pin does on the multiplug?
    Can anyone help on this?
    Thanks
    Steve

bit of an obvious one here, but have you checked all fuses?

Haven't checked the fuses yet but probably unlikely as the unit itself is working along with the display, it's just the lights that don't work. Will check anyway just in case.

I have the same problem with a 2000 TT 225.

(All the) fuses are fine, but I've also got the front fogs, rear number plate lamps and glove box light not working.

This occurred after having the drivers side lower dash off (to fit bluetooth phone kit). Could I have disturbed something under there?
