    Hi

    I have a 2015 T5.1 CAAC with 102k miles.

Owned about a year and always had the odd time is cranks for ages but it seems to have got worse.

    Symptoms are:

    Cold start fine
Drive van even 2 miles, leave it 20+ mins and it then takes ages to start. Cranks fine but takes 10+ seconds to fire
Hot immediate restart is fine, only happens if you leave it for a while

    VDCS shows

Erratic fuel pressure even with engine off. Fluctuates from 60kpa to 400 ish.
Cylinder 1 shows high injector reading, 2.6mg.
    Cylinders 2-4 show -1.2, -1.1, -0.3

Changes fuel pressure sensor. No difference

    No error codes showing

Drives ok, perhaps a bit sluggish but could just be overthinking it. Nothing obviously wrong when driving it.

Garage wanted to remove HPFP to check for metal filings as a next step?

Check the fuel filter for sparkle dust, if present replace the HPFP and pray the dust didn’t get into the injectors.
