    Hi all,
I've got an A4 b9 from 2016 with those famous error codes. Engine light is on but drives fine.
It's had a new EGR cooler in September 2022, and done 40k miles since. It had the same codes then, but they went away after the EGR cooler was done.
It also has a new ad blue module in September 2023 as the other one was giving low adblue warnings(turned out to be a water damaged PCB in the module). At the time it was getting through adblue at quite a rate. That's all sorted too.
Now it's got these codes. I don't have VCDS but have scanned with carista and have also been using VAGDPF to monitor the numbers
The ash loading looks a little high at 63% but I don't think abnormal for a car with 134000 miles

    Any help much appreciated

The ash is 50g in that screen shot and from memory you are allowed 80.

Thanks very much. Sounds about right since it's showing 63% full...I would guess that isn't the cause then...it's doing regular regens: I do around 300miles a week and it does one once a week or so, but then again oil ash would t burn off...

If it's not that, other posts are pointing me to either the EGR cooler (again) or the diff pressure sensor.

The EGR cooler was replaced 1.5 years ago, would it have failed again? It was a genuine audi part.

The pressure sensor seems to jump around in a more or less sensible way, reads 0 when ignition is on, around 3 at idle. The calculated soot looks negative but I've read that's also not abnormal, so I'm a little stuck...

It was low on adblue when the light came on...it's not done a DPF Regen since it came on, but it's nearly ready for one based on the latest soot reading.
