Hi, Im new here, so I hope Im writting this in the correct place.

I have a 2003 audi a4 with the 2.0ALT engine, and I have noticed that it feels very sluggish and unresponsive. I have had this car for a couple of years, but I always tought there was nothing wrong with it(its my first car), until I drove my friends B5 1.6 petrol and my other friends 1.8 NA petrol aswell. The first thing I noticed is the throttle response, it was way more responsive on both the 1.6 and the 1.8, the second thing was how smoothly and quickly it picked up speed, surely the 2.0 can't be worse than a 1.6? Whenever I give it more gas it seems like it doesnt want to go, and is very lazy, maybe even slightly jerky, and I only start feeling some power and smoothness when its at 4k rpm. I've taken it to quite a few repair shops, but there were no faults, and noone told me what could be wrong except maybe the fuel mixture is a bit rich (the mechanic judged by the sound of the exhaust). The spark plugs are changed, no problems with the ignition coils. Oil always changed every 10k km. Timing belt is also replaced around 1000km ago. The engine itself doesnt stall, or make abnormal noises. I dont know what the fuel economy should be on these but in the city its around 13l-14l/100km and on highway its 7l-7.5l/100km.
I'd be happy for any help, and I can provide more information if needed.
Thank you
