    Hi All
First post here... Wife has an 2019 A6 tdi. We have been sold an 'All In' service pack which includes an inspection service, a std oil service, 2 x MOT and 2 year warranty,
Today the car in is for its inspection service and they are telling me that it needs a fuel filter however that's an additional cost!

Now in my eyes an 'all inclusive' service plan covers everything service related that the car needs. OK I accept things like brakes are wear & tear items but if the car needs a fuel filter, which by definition is a service item, then it should surely be included! Apparently there is a whole raft of things not included in the 'all inclusive plan' an air filter is apparently not even included which in my opinion is one of the most basis items changed at a service! In fact I have a BMW M5 and that has their All inclusive service pack, never been charged a penny at service time.

Its like booking an all inclusive holiday and then getting to the airport to be told it dosent include the flight!

I have spoken to 5 different departments at Audi, none of them seem to be able to help. The Dealer openly admits that there are many items that are deemed a 'service' item such as air filter, gearbox oil etc that whilst are service items are not service items according to the 'all inclusive' pack.

Surely others have experienced this - any way to get them to keep to their end of the bargain or is it just a con? Must be in breach of trades description act!
    Thanks
    Jon

    Hi
Thanks for coming back to me. I dont know the VIN as car is out with wife. Its a 2019 A6 2.0tdi 40TDI - only the front wheel drive version. Mileage is just over 75K

Really do struggle how they can get away with selling an 'all inclusive' service pack when in fact it dosent include 'all'. Or even an air filter or fuel filter!

Is this a common issue or am I the only one that has been silly enough to buy this?

It should have had a fuel filter at 40K but none is shown and yes a fuel filter is due in 5K but so is a DSG fluid change, these service packages are BS.

As far as the recorded work is concerned the only thing ever done apart from oil and filter is a brake fluid change. We had a Toerag 2 come in that popped its turbo as the air filter disintegrated. Listed on the system as being changed twice but the one fitted was the factory fitted (dated) original and it fell to bits! VW service plan BS.

Thanks so much for coming back to me. I have raised a complaint with Audi (well its actually Volkswagen Financial Services) about it as there is clear miss-selling going on here. It was sold to us as a 'fully inclusive package for 2 years. Pay the monthly fee and anything that your car needs will be covered as ultimately it will either be a warranty issue or a service item - apart from wear & tear. After only a few weeks of having the all inclusive pack it would seem that its just a con, its to get you committed to Audi and then every time you take your car in for a service they end up billing you for something that wasnt included.

Had an S3 and and S4 in the past, great cars however after this experience I have already got some valuations done with we buyanycar and Carwow as I cannot stand being ripped off.

Hopefully there was some goodwill with that airfilter as if they are recording it had been changed and they hadnt bothered then surely they should be liable for the turbo & fitting...

I'm stunned but not surprised. I would have thought that 'All inclusive ' means just that, so unless it's clearly stated on the paperwork that X is included but y and z are not then yes, blatant mid selling.

No, they weren’t interested in the slightest and he just had us fix it. It wasn’t the first time they let him down either, the reason we got him as a customer was the MMI packed up and they said he needed a new controller in the glovebox at £7k… I found it was the radio in the boot had blown the fuse, I programmed in a used unit for £100.

I wish I had been a member of this forum before buying this service pack. Hey ho, I certainly wont be making the same mistake with Audi again.
