    2007 3.0 Tdi Fault code. Dash comes up with rear park brake fault Cheap OBD2 reader says rear park brake sensor. Car won't start so living 100 K's from nearest Audi service station.Any advice how to proceed. Looks like a Tilt tray job atm.

    Cheap scanners tend to use a general data base of codes - not so bad for engine codes, gets a bit more random with specific control modules. I would get a licensed VAG scanner and get a full scan to see whats going on.
    VCDS or OBDeleven are the 2 I know. OBDeleven starts off cheap if its only a glove box hero you are after. If you intend on doing a lot to a lot of cars VCDS would pay for itself.
    Also post in your model specific section and you might get more feedback.
