    Hi all,

New here and I'm hoping for some help with the above.

Audi TT 1.8t BAM engine, Roadster, Quattro 2002.

The car wont start diagnosed fuel pump to begin with as could not hear it run when opened door or cranked, replaced with new from motor factors (told it is the right one for the car) I also replaced the fuel filter to go with, STILL NO START. Checked all fuses related to the engine all good, swapped fuel pump relay with another albeit from a scrap yard (can hear it click when ignition is on), exchanged injectors as a matter of course and fuel pressure regulator, STILL NO START. Changed Cam and Crank sensors with Bosch/ Meyle, STILL NO START. Have checked all grounds in engine bay and under dash all seem good, checked wiring around the ECU no breaks there. Has plenty of fuel in also, and a new battery.

If anybody can please help with what to look at next I'd really appreciate it. The MAF sensor fault was because the air box was disconnected.

Just for clarification the car isn't near me its an hour and a half away so can't look at things right away.

    Thanks in advance

    18010 (P1602) - Power Supply Terminal 30 - Voltage too Low - Intermittent

Open up the wiring to the ECU and follow the thin 0.35mm CSA red/green back to a connection of a 4mm red/black and a 1.5mm red/green which is the terminal 30 power feed. These corrode on cars up until 11/2001 build.

Replace the ECU relay in the little box next to the left strut tower.

Hi Crasher, sorry for not getting back sooner but not close to the car. Changed the relay in the engine bay as suggested but its still not starting. ECU possibly? if there is anything else can try, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks again thus far.

ECU failure is pretty rare but can happen. Are you still getting the same injector and terminal 30 fault codes?

I imagine so I'll have to get off my **** and put my laptop back on it to confirm but I never cleared them last time as once cleared it takes some time for codes to re-appear. I'll clear and see if i can get anything back.

    will let know soon

    thanks again
