    Thanks. That gives me some comfort. I'm testing the injectors with voltmeter. I'm getting less than 20 ohms on all of them and i believe range should be between 160-180 ohms. Maybe doing it wrong, could it be possible all are bad? I'm going to try post some pics.

    So, pics show the cracked retaining nut and on one of the injectors the swollen tip. Possible that diesel getting into oil this way?

    Yes, sir. Took it apart and it's only spraying 6 ways, I think it should be 8 or more sprays. There is one additional injector that is super stuck. Even used an engine hoist to lift and tap around the sides but it's not coming out. Any ideas, suggestions, how to extract that sucker or what it's happening down there? Don't want to damage cylinder if can avoid it. I thought about just cutting out valve cover out for more access and also a better look to see what exactly is happening; is it fused unto the cylinder, or what's the deal. Need less to say , a sliding hammer method does not work.
