Concentric slave replacement

Anyone know the cost to have it replaced by a VW AD.

Update: It's out to cost by two VW AD's and two Indi's.

One other Indi would not do it unless the complete clutch assembly was also changed.

Update: At 24 hours and no replies from anyone yet.

It's Monday and not a soul is interested...have we, the UK, run out of real car mechanics.

Even more so now thinking about laying the car up as much as possible and doing it myself early next year.

Update if anyone is interested.

Out of 6 garages only one, a VW/Skoda dealership, has provided a costing.

6.5 hours labour + parts (£125) £950.

I have costed the part which is £55. I assume they add on bolts, oil etc.

That's it booked in for next week at a VW dealer.

That's her in today at Peter Cooper in Shirley, Southampton.

That's it replaced and touch wood no incidences yet.

The final bill was £630.

They suggested I have a new clutch but without hard evidence it needed one, other than it's done 61K....I declined.
