I need to purchase 4 upper front control arms for an A5 coupe 2009 3.0Tdi. Audi want circa £160 each. I would like to get a cheaper aftermarket brand but which ones are good and is there a best place to order them from.

    Thanks

HUGE choice. For me FEBI if I had overnight or off the shelf, TRW, Lemforder, Meyle, Optimal, Dayco, Borg and Beck, Delphi and FAG are all top end. Remember EVERY single nut and bolt is one time only and it is almost guaranteed that you will not be able to remove the top bolt without some deep heat (Oxycet or induction) or even cut the upper arms off and take the upright to a competent engineer who can drill out a 100mm long bolt without damaging the upright. If you apply heat, take great care as the upright is aluminium and the material can change state and crack during reassembly.

Thank you Crasher. Nice to know that there are so many brands able to produce good quality parts.
