    Hi all,

    got a 2016 Polo, 1.0TSI, 6 SPEED with a QTR gearbox code.

The gearbox died on me, on the motorway I couldn't get out of 6th and then forced it into first, and had to drive home like that.
Now even in Neutral it stalls so the gears are all messed up.
Basically have no gears or very minimal, and yeah well I need a replacement, lol.

I have seen on Carprog2, there is a SEP gearbox as well.
Seeing as QTR is very rare, and SEP is easier and cheaper to find, does anyone know if I can use it?

Based off my research, the 'Z' (whatever that means) for the gears is different, not sure if this would matter?

    Thank youScreenshot 2023-10-27 190759.jpg

The QTR and SEP have different 6th gear ratios.
