I didn't receive an instruction booklet for the radio when I purchased my Golf, therefore I'm struggling the the 'TP' button.

At the moment 'TP' is selected and it switches to traffic information all the time, how can I turn this off ?

    Cheers

On my 03 Passat it is a bit of a pain. There are various ways to switch it off. It also seems to have its own idea of being off or on everytime I get in

Easy method is to switch to AM band before using CD/mp3 etc..

Assuming it's a Gamma unit, simply press the FM1-2 button to return to your normal FM presets ! (It took ages to fathom that out)

The TP button effectively is like another set of FM presets with the TP always switched on.
