    Hi,
This doesn't happen very often, but occasionally I turn the temp up full to demist, but it won't come back when I turn it down. Stays on full heat all day regardless of how many times you start, stop, lock it, or leave it. Leave it overnight and all is back to normal.
    Any ideas?

I would expect it to need the two distribution lever kits 1K2 898 001 and 1K0 898 002 A (there is some duplication of parts for right hand drive) but this means the dash out and like the A4 we did Monday/Tuesday that is a two day job.

Thanks, that's annoying. I was hoping it would be a simple dirty sensor hidden somewhere! Not to worry, winter is coming so the heat may be an advantage for a while.
As I have another vehicle here with the heater matrix etc. out all over the floor at the moment she'll have to join the queue I think.
    Great guidance as always, cheers.
    Rob.
