    Hi,

Please can you offer any help on the below?

My son has tried to put cornering lights on my Skoda Octavia 2018 1.6 5E

The first attempt following a youtuber was unsuccessful so he reverted all the settings back to their original values.. or at least that what he thinks.

My issue now is that my high beam lights do not work on a single flash, but they do work when you flick the lever away for always on.

When you pull the lever for a single flash, the blue indicator on the cluster illuminates, but do not turn on the high beam lights.

This used to work before my son changed settings in VCDS and now he feels really bad and its upsetting him as he's blaming himself.
Please can you look at the attached VCDS map and possible point out where the issue is?

I would be most grateful and will hopefully teach my son some a bit more about VCDS and help him rectify the issue.

    Thank you for any help.

Sorry, not sure how to add the below as a scrollable text box.

    Yes, thank you!

He did not take a backup scan, but I have been told about the change log that VCDS creates automatically, reading this resolved my issue.

My son made the following changes:

channel ENG116944-ENG116028-Leuchte8FL LB39-Lichtfunktion B 8 adapted from Lichthupe generell to Abbiegelicht links
channel ENG116945-ENG116047-Leuchte9FL RB2-Lichtfunktion B 9 adapted from Lichthupe generell to Abbiegelicht rechts

Then after he reverted it back did the following:

channel ENG116944-ENG116028-Leuchte8FL LB39-Lichtfunktion B 8 adapted from Abbiegelicht links to not active
channel ENG116945-ENG116047-Leuchte9FL RB2-Lichtfunktion B 9 adapted from Abbiegelicht rechts to not active

I've now changed them both back to Lichthupe generell and they work.

Thank you once again for your response, it is massively appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Mark.
