    Hi All,

The wiper motor suddenly stopped working whilst on the Motorway in torrential rain. Managed to pull off safely and called the AA. Washer working all fuses appeared okay. Gave motor was given a few taps which freed it slightly. So far I’ve found OEM motor for £390.00 before VAT. Anyone know of cheaper suppliers or a way of reconditioning the motor please?

    Thanks

These suffer two common faults, seizure of the right spindle and failure of the LIN BUS command signal wire deep inside the harness. The system is so problematic that Audi only sell the full unit with motor and frame/spindles etc underpart number 8J2 955 023 D for £396.60 including VAT retail so asking £468 for just the motor is taking the ****.
