How do I turn the spanner off
I’ve tried quite a few you tubes
And none of them are successful
My central display differs from a lot of them.
Can someone point me at the correct routine please?
    Cheers

    I’m aware of that Crasher.
    I’ve done oil, filters etc
So how do I reset it to start the service interval again?

I’ve done service on the engine.

What other maintenance is required to allow me to turn the spanner off?

    everything else on your car,
    brakes
    suspsion
    tyres
    so on and so forth
its mainly an inspection reminder but there will be things needing done like brake fluid every 2 years for example. it will be in your service book.

I agree with needs to be done
    However I have done it.
    New front coil springs tick
New rear discs and callipers brakes system bled tick
    Oil and filters changed tick

    It’s all done

All I want to do is reset the spanner and service reminders.

You need a diagnostic system such as VCDS and a full scan of the car is part of the inspection procedure, some cars allow the oil change reset in the MMI display but I only have an 8V S3 here so can't check. Which year?

Does your code scanner not have an SRI reset option?

When you say videos is that things like pushing dashboard clock buttons while turning key? The latter work for me when I can't be bothered to get VCDS out - but often take a couple of tries to get the timing right.
