So, next crazy oddity with the B7, started a few months back,

    • Passenger and rear window switches operate correctly except the drivers side
    • All windows can go up and down from the keyfob
    • Drivers door switch, only goes up, it even goes up when you push down? (I've opened the windows with the key fob) and pushed down on the door switch and it goes up?

No VCDS errors at all. Is this likely to be the drivers switch needs replacing? or likely a sign of issues with the CCM module? Can't see any other discussion on this strange behaviour

I thought VCDS would show state of switches in one of the convenience module measuring blocks. If so does it give hints?

ok, so bought a cheapo switch on Amazon for testing, plugged it in and worked fine, changed the cable back to the original audi switch (audi switch feels nicer when operaing) and the audi switch also worked. started to put the door back together, stopped working.....errr. I think there is an issue with the cable between the door control module and the window switch. Removed and reinserted into the connectors both ends, and so far, so good. So hopefully the connector was just loose (impossible I know as it was locked in at both ends) but still working at the moment. very strange.
