    Hi everyone,
I know this is for Q7, however I believe that Q8 has the same a/c, hvac system.
I have Audi Q8 2018 and it has an issue with the A/C Flaps. In the last days when the A/C is on there is no air coming from the front vents, but only in from the rear ones. If I stop the A/C, air is coming from front & rear. I have checked my car with obd and got the following issue.B109207 - Recirculation Flap Motor, Mechanical Malfunction
Anyone able to give guide/manual for replacing that part ?

    Part number: 4M0820511A
I have paid for erwin, but unfortunately didn’t find any manual for replacing that part.
    Thanks in advance.

I've got the same problem since yesterday on our SQ7. Just as the weather is getting warmer in the North and we are making muti-hour journeys...
Same error code, although its been around for months as a static on OBDEleven. Obviously its a step too far now.

Symptoms are just as explained for the A5 as
    Audi A5 B9 Motor for Recirculation Flap - B1092 07 [009] - Mechanical Failure | Ross-Tech Forums

I contacted my Audi agent, who gave the car a clean bill of health from their diagnosis on just 10 May (despite telling them the OBEleven Statics) , and they can't fit us in even for a dianosis until 30 June - so nearly 4 weeks away.

I have located the part 4M0820511A for about £100 but as for chamukov i can't get any info for how this is accessed and replaced.

EVEN WHERE THIS AIR CON SERVO MOTOR is located . I think behind the air vent assembly, but i'm not prising that off to find it is not....

    Can anybody advise even this?

    Thanks in advance...

See if you can find video / diagrams / guides for replacing "recirculation flap motor V113". Probably up behind dash after removing some lower panel to peer up behind.

Thanks for the assist ... i've found something. the actuator looks like this but these instructions are for the earlier Q7 (2007) .. I'll investigate further in the driver's side (RHS) footwell.

    Hello brother(s),

Im new to this forum so please excuse me if what im asking has already been answered.

I have recently bought a used Q8 2019 50TDI with the standard 2-zone A/C and i was wondering whether air should flow in the cabin from outside when AC is closed (more noticable at high speeds).
I recently changed one motor (not sure if it was the fresh air motor or recirculation flap motor as they both use same part number) with new part 4M0820511A and updated the unit as per instructions
Recirculation button never stays on RED when AC is off and every now and then i get the Recirculation flap motor - mechanical malfunction error.
When AC is on and i hit recirculate i believe i hear the motor working (engine is off otherwise hearing the motor would not be possible).
Let's say my mechanic changed the fresh air door motor and updated the unit should it still work with the other motor which part number was discontinued? Hope i make sense.
I have no other issues with flow or changing where air flows in cabin btw

    To sum it up:

    A. Should air be flowing in cabin?
    B. If yes is there a way to stop it?
    C. Is recirculation button suppose to stay RED when AC is OFF?
    D. Is airflow related to the recirculation flap or the fresh air door?

I would appreciate if you guys could share your knowledge

    Thank you in advance.
