    Afternoon all,

Bought a replacement Bosch Fuel Filter for my 2016 Tiguan 2.0 TDI 4motion (mark 2), I've read some other threads so I'm looking for clarification on what they've said.

    1) any torque settings I should be aware of or just tighten up?
    2) do you need vcds to fire the fuel pump or can you just fill it back up with diesel once you've replaced the filter?

I've had a look for a workshop manual online like I had for my Passat but not sure what to go for, most are around £20, are they worth it?

    Many thanks,

    Nick.

Bleeding the fuel system is critical to avoid destroying the high pressure fuel system (approx £4k to fix), sign up to erWin for dealer level manuals for €7 an hour.
