According to ELSA the red/blue only revives power from the solar sunroof, which you don't have I think? Do you have VCDS?

No I don't have a solar sunroof. I have VCDS yes. Thank you

Go into HVAC and do an output test on the blower V2

Ok done. It just went through the voltages. No change in current. It just stayed at 0.0A. No blower either.

That looks like the PWM signal from the controller has failed which is unusual.

New controller then I guess? Assume it needs coding? I’ve done abs controllers and steering angle sensors so is it as straightforward as those?

Presumably I could check for a pwm signal coming out the back of the climate controller using a multimeter? Is it the yellow wire on the 3 pin plug that comes out the back of it?

I don't remember ever doing a 4F controller which is why it bothers me, the coding should come up on the scan, I can't see it being VIN matched; post a full car scan including the VIN.
