    Hi All,

I picked up a project car recently which has some engine issues that I do not mind trying to sort out... unfortunately I bought this at distance and didn't realise (or the seller withheld) that the car leaks from everywhere which means now I have to sort out some electrical issues too (oh joy).

I've been googling for days and not sure where to start with some of these, seems to be very vague instructions on the interwebs so hoping someone can point me in a good direction!

    1. Behind the driver seat there's a puddle that formed. I sucked it all out, it rained overnight and it had formed again. The driver footwell seems relatively dry but the car is parked on an incline. The electric seat doesn't move at all either so I assume that there's corrosion on the connectors underneath the seat from the water. What do I need to look for for the water leaking issue? Plenum chamber or AC related? Not sure why it would be AC related when I haven't even used the climate control at all and it was just sat on the drive and flooded overnight?

    2. The boot had water in there about 2 inches deep which I have sucked out now. Are those rubber grommets supposed to allow the water to drain or is there no drain around the battery?

Following on from that - both sides of the boot look to be wet. The fuses area you can see the sponge is wet (and turning blue):

But what's much worse is the other side... the B&O amp has unfortunately been killed by this (happy days) and the sponge underneath is totally soaked. It looks like water everywhere on this side:

Is that condensation above the amp???

Any tips or advice or pointers in the right direction would be very much appreciated!!! I've currently covered the car under a rain cover on my drive.

So left a cover over the car and there's a fresh puddle behind drivers seat... the cover is rain proof so there's obviously some water pooled up somewhere in the car?
