Mk 7.5 1.5 Evo (130) Multi-link or not?

Hi

After owning a Mk7 Golf with the 1.4 122bhp TSi engine a few years back we are now seriously considering getting another Golf as our next car. We could have gone for a MK8 but to honest I think we prefer the more traditional dash in the MK7.5 with actual dials etc!

I suppose we could go for either the 130 or 150 variants of the 1.5 evo engine, the 130 seems to be particularly economical from real world users and I'm sure it will be plenty quick enough for our needs.

I was just wondering though, does the 130 have the more sophisticated multi-link suspension definitely found in the 150 or is it the simpler torsion beam set-up? The information found online seems to be a bit conflicting on this.

Also, any general thoughts re 130 vs 150 variants would be really useful.

It's okay, I've figured it. The 130 is multi-link too in the Golf!

Did you eventually gt this Mk7.5?
Im looking to replace my dads Mk7 with a Mk7.5 1.5TSI Evo. Do these also have a DQ200 DSG?
