    Default Coolant leak – 11-02-2023,11:12 AM
    Definite slow coolant loss 2019 40TDI 48k miles. No visible signs of an actual leak. Checked oil filler cap, normal. Is this a common issue? Been advised not to put any of the propietory radiator sealant liquids in. Car still under extended warranty, would this be covered please. Any help appreciated

    NO sealant, disastrous. I have just rebuilt my friends Octavia engine as he put Steel Seal in there to fight a failed head gasket, I had to fit a new head due to it being blocked and acid dip the block to get the **** out. Thankfully the rad and matrix seem to have flushed clear; all the hoses and housings were encrusted by it. I don’t know of a common failure that late.

    My water pump went at 158k miles
    Audi A7 3.0TDi 2011 160k miles, engine code CLAB 204bhp 2WD
