    My razor says made in the Netherlands so either a lie (the EU would get very angry) or they do make the high end ones there?

    Technically correct, the raw material SHOULD only come from a specific area which includes the administrative districts of the following Italian Regions: Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont, Molise, Umbria, Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo and Lazio.
