    Hello,
Anyone know the VCDS coding to set the auto high beam assist to default to on when you start the car please?
    Thank you

On my A6 if I park it with the high beam assist on, when I restart the car it is still on. Not sure if it switches off after a long time but mine definitely stays on overnight. The headlight icon on the dashboard is white during the day and only turns blue when it gets dark.
Current- A6 C8 40 tdi quattro s line Daytona Grey

Hi Scott K, Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, it seems the 2018 models with Matrix LED headlights do not keep 'auto high beam' enabled once the car is turned off and then back on, but instead resets the setting to off state.
I notice later models do keep the setting in the last on/off state as yours does. i.e. if the auto high beeam was on when the car was turned off, they remain on when the car is switched back on.

I am thinking their must be some coding that can be modified to change it to either the last state like yours or always on by default.
    Thanks again.
