Hi, If you see this CRASHER, you kindly gave me the part number for that throttle potentiometer. It's been fine thanks.
It's bluddy freezing so having changed the thermostat I need to replace the blower motor. Loads on ebay, usually 8E282002IE? Would you have access to the part no. for that? Dealer won't divulge.
Thanks...... Did you sort it with Audi Tradition?
Might be of interest that I got another rear bulb housing after my other problems, but fixed the old one just by very slightly bending the connection pins with long nosed pliers.
    02 A4 B6 Avant RX52 YTS Cheers.

Thanks Larhal, you're a star. It was listed on the first link you sent. 8E1820021E. Identical to the numbers on those for sale except they don't include the first '1' ?.... I'll probably order one anyway unless anyone tells me different? Thanks again.

Keep the second link as it is invaluable tool for our parts.

Make sure you get the one for RHD, that would start with 8E2

That accounts for the '1' in the German? parts list then? Many thanks L. I've ordered one on ebay now. Fingers crossed. I can almost handle the cold, but the condensation/ice on the screen has been a nightmare.
Crasher, I've seen you've got 'tradition' up to speed, well done!

And so it goes on.......... Fitted new thermostat, coolant and now the blower motor. That works well but no heat.
Any ideas what's next? I'm guessing the heater matrix or supply/outlet is blocked. Can it be flushed reasonably easily?

Yes all sorted up and running, customs clearance registered, bank transfer payment set up etc. I am going to put an order in about once a month as and when required. The prices you see on there aren't going to come out like that, each time it will depend on the size of the order, I had one order as a trial and it came straight through and the second was a 3K Euro big one and got hit for 300 Euro packing and plus UK duty, VAT, UK delivery etc which totalled about £600 so it will vary, I will take a deposit on order and the remainder on arrival.

Try the flush. I first used the hose several times in both directions. I got some system cleaner and put it in the core and let it soak for an hour. Follow by hot water then the hose flush. It worked for me. If the core is blocked you will need a new one.

Thank you. First job after Christmas. Just in case, I checked your parts list and the core seems to be 4B2819011 I'd be grateful for your confirmation? There's a 4B1 as well so I guess it will be 'handed?'..... Merry Christmas to all.

That is the part number for the Aux heater.

You need item16 8E2820031. that is the heater core for RHD, Use the OEM as aftermarket ones are not so good.
