    Hi

I am looking at buying a Mk5 Golf GTi Edition 30 and hold on to it as a future classic before they become rarer. Should I go for the Manual or DSG? Which is more desirable and hold a cars value better

also which Golf will become future classics from the modern generation? I know Mk1 Golf GTi and Mk2 GTi are already classics. MK4 R32 are classics What about the Mk5 R32, will that be a classic? Same question manual or DSG?

    Thanks

DSG or manual, they ARE both collectable now. There is one on my way to work and it is hanging, quite depressing. Golf 5 R32's suffer from over supply and being thrashed senseless by people who can't afford to fix them, they can throw big bills at you. I like the Golf 6 GTI and the Golf 6 R certainly will be a classic due to rarity and being a great drivers car.
