I have just installed a new AGM battery to replace the original in my Q5. I decided to go for the bigger Varta H15 battery which is the same as in my 2011 A7.

Installation went ok and now for the coding. The coding requires the battery part number, the battery vendor number and the serial number.

The vendor is Varta so VA0 or VAO is what I will use.

I cant figure out the part number or the serial number. I have the following numbers on the battery.

    A 12 H15 202 150 which is located below the QR code.
ETN number is 605901095 D85 2 on the invoice and on the battery
4 016987 144544 on a barcode sticker on the battery.

The original codes as read from VCDS is 4F0915105E JCB 340227R1HW. Interestingly I took out a Varta battery, but JCB is stamped on it.

So I am thinking that my code should be 605901095D VAO 12H15202150, but thats just a guess. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Finally completed it. The part number should be the Audi part number and not the Varta one. Silly me.
