It’s been a while since I was active on here!

My Passat is still going strong and is one of 3 B5’s and 4 vehicles I currently own.

2005 Passat S PD130 Variant (192k)
1999 Audi S4 Avant (149k)
1998 Audi A4 Avant AFN (120k)
2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ (172k)

It’s had a lot done, my current mod/retrofit list sits at..

OEM Items:

-Half leather/Alcantara Full sport interior in grey including door cards, leather handbrake, armrest etc.
- Front Fogs
- Auto Wipers
- Auto dimming rearview with ambient lighting
- Cruise Control
- Heated Seats
- Perforated Leather Steering Wheel
- Touran Flat rear wiper
- Full DIS Cluster with needlesweep/welcome message/lit gauges etc
- B5 Centre console cup holders
- B5 5sp Shifter & leather gaiter
- 17” BiStar Alloys

Non-OEM:

-Reverse Camera & double din
- Auto headlights with activation on lock/unlock etc
- LED Tails (Full units)
- LED Dipped Beam (Novsight)
- hardwired dash cam
- Sony Double Din w/Handsfree etc
- Pressed Plates

It also had the engine replaced in 2020 along with the tailgate and both wings. I maintain what I said many years ago. I’ll never sell it. Though it is now called Trig (Trigs Brush)

I do also now run a business on the side which seems to have ended up specialising in repairs to older VAG cars but especially B5/C5 Platform vehicles.

Finally FINALLY got around to cleaning the ol Trig.

Not been washed since November and I think this is the dirtiest it’s ever been in my 9+yr ownership.

Took some work but cleaned up well.

Finally done my speakers.

Christ. What a difference. Absolutely love it

Vibe Slick 6 6.5” Components and 39mm tweeters.

Need a little more fitting on the front tweeters but happy overall. I’ll swap out the speaker grilles in the door cards for the Vibe ones when I can be *****. They look like they’ll fit and bolt straight up

Have a list of things it needs now which I’ll be doing over the next few days hopefully, then MOT time.
