This is the area where my battery is, it looks dry should i try to get into the ECU box to see if there is water in there?

Just had a look inside the ECU box, its actuallt dry and clean! which im surprised! So i can only assume that the gas temp sensor has actually gone?

That all looks good so hopefully just a faulty sensor and not a wiring issue.

It is in the exhaust manifold before the turbo, some can be very tricky to get at and you need a special deep 17mm socket with a slot up the side to avoid damaging the metal curved section if you want to set the torque at 45Nm. You have to remove the lambda sensor first and this must have new anti seize paste applied, NOT copper grease!

    The sensors alignment is important

I would air on the side of caution on this your fault code circuit high which tells me A circuit high is only likely to be activated if theres a short to another circuit that is carrying a voltage
