Hey all my car went into limp mode after a heavy rain storm and flashing glow plug.
Scanned it with obd reader and came back P0546 EGRT sesnsor, bank 1, high.

Has anyone had this issue before? Not sure where to start looking

    001350 (P0546) - Sensor 1 for Exhaust Temp Bank 1 (G235)

How was the code defined Short to Plus - Intermittent? Rather than chase the fault, I would replace the sensor first to see what happens but it could be water ingress into the e-box in the plenum chamber, part number 03G 906 088 AP

Hey fella thanks so much for the quick reply, so i was using a heapo obd scanner all it says was "Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor Circuit High" Bank 1 and someone had mentioned about water getting into the area where the battery is, i took the battery out and all seems dry but im not sure where the plenum chamber is? This did happen after a night of torrential rain mind! I'm also struggling to locate the actual sensor, i can't find any diagrams or DIY online on how to find the sensor and change it.

    Any help would be amazing!

The plenum chamber is where the battery is located. The drains under the tray and under the servo get blocked and the chamber fills with water, gallons of it. There is a box in the right corner which houses the engine ECU, a relay or two and couple of fuses. If water gets in there it causes havoc.
