    i too love lego.

I had boxes of the stuff. I would spend hours trying to find the only other one wheel piece to make a motorbike.

Imagine my delight when Lego Star Wars came out on the PS2!!

Three fantastic things in one small box. Game, Lego and it's Star Wars.

They are just about to release all six episodes on the PS3 in one game.

They have made Lego Indiana Jones Bionicle Heros and Lego Batman.

If you have a look at www.Stage6.com and search Lego you will be able to see official videos of the game and some unofficial ones that are quite funny.

For all us oldies that think Monty Python rules there is even a short clip of a Lego Holy Grail

The other one that I need to mention is the Lego film entitled FreeFall. It's very good.

    update on this.

I built up all my models and my latest additions to the collection are the JCB and the recent Bulldozer.

If any one has any that they want rid of, i'll relieve you of it.

    No !

See you have the car chassis set there, circa 1982 / 84

I had that and it was truely amazing.

I vaguely remember modding the gearbox to have 3 speeds up from the factory fit 2

Hey, I did say vaguely remember, it was over 25 years ago !

I'd love to have that again or even buy for my boys.

The current technics / bionicle stuff is not as good as it was back in the day.

agree 100% the best era was early to mid 90's before all these smooth, curved moulded pieces came along.
i still have some brocures from 1991 to 1994.

Lego! I remember Lego when Golf etc (Ben) put it in my shoes. On 1st Watch (Police jargon) it was no joke.... I could have strangled him. Laugh about it now, Mrs Mint always thought it was highly amusing.

used to love technic, was one of the first models i's seen with a cylinder engine, go kart, loved it to bits, havent a clue where it is now? probably all lost, would be early 80's, not so keen on the new stuff, too many dedicated parts so you cant really make a lot of stuff. just found it, brought a few memories back, well, photos of it.

here is a list i found of all the technic!

The week before Christmas we emptied my mothers loft as she is having new insulation put down. in one of the boxes was my lego collection from around 35 years ago.

Have to confess I couldn't resist building the railway lines and getting the electric train working. Yes some 35 years on the electric motor in the train is still going!

I have passed it all on to a young nephew who is getting a lot of fun out of it
