    Hello
So my ignition barrel started playing up and I have removed it and will be buying a new one today however I just have 1 question.

Is this immobiliser ring removable so can I swap over my old one to the new barrel?

The reason I ask is because if I use the new fob even though the car will start I won't be able to use the central locking on that key... And if I don't use the new fob, everything will work except I won't be able to start the car up using the old fob.....

    Thank you.

Or does anyone know if the key for a seat Ibiza separates like this as then I can just swap the fob section to the new key.
