I’ve had this dated motor for a few years now as a spare workhorse. I’m planning on taking it last minute to Scotland Monday morning but noted the rear discs are paggered. I’m trying to order a set online click :collect so I can get my mechanic to whip off old ones tomorrow but it’s confusing cos GSF and Euro and other online stores state two types one 268 mm diameter and 294 mm. I’m trying to avoid having to whip off wheel and measure as I’m pushed for time.
Mine is a Sport Stylance with 17 inch wheels, do you think I would have bigger brakes ? 312/314 mm front and 282mm/294mm rear ?
    Or are they just standard
    300mm front and 268mm rears ?

There’s too many different sizes for rear
268mm, 288, 298 mm all under my reg no

Crasher, I’ll get it you in morning.
Meanwhile my little grill went flying off on motorway whilst travelling from Birmingham to York, (due to travel on to Aviemore Scotland). Im not sure whether it’s related but it triggered a coolant temp warning light, but temp gauge was normal. When I stopped off I checked water level; it was normal as was live VCDS reading 86-88 degrees, I checked that level sensor was plugged in too, no fault codes on VCDS and I performed output tests and rad fan was working. Anyway I managed to reach York with no issues and having run diagnostics the light seems to have gone off but I only took it round block after running diagnostics fingers crossed it’s nothing cos I’ve got a 1000 mile round trip t
