As you have an S-Line you will have matrix headlights which should mean that the car will makes adjustments to avoid dazzling other vehicles and it will know you are in France from the Sat Nav and will adjust its oncoming vehicle selection accordingly. As a more general point LED headlights have a much flatter beam than Xenon or Halogen and as a result they are much less prone to dazzling oncoming vehicles and therefore tend not to need adjustment when driving on the other side of the road in the way that cars used to.

I think the reference in the manual about "other export markets" may vibe because in some markets sat nav is not a standard fit and therefore with out that automated input into the lighting system there needs to be a manual option
