    Hi everyone,
My A6 C6 4F 3.0l quattro TDI has been randomly lighting the engine management light and becoming more and more persistent.
Car drives just fine, but I had it scanned and these are the results:

012597 - Intake Manifold Runner Control
    P3135 - 001 - Lower Stop not Reached
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 01100001
    Fault Priority: 0
    Fault Frequency: 48
    Reset counter: 255
    Mileage: 106878 km
    Time Indication: 0
    Date: 2022.06.03
    Time: 18:00:37

    Freeze Frame:
    RPM: 756 /min
    Torque: 62.4 Nm
    Speed: 0.0 km/h
    Voltage: 13.98 V
    Duty Cycle: 88.8 %
    Duty Cycle: 80.9 %
    Duty Cycle: 80.9 %

I searched for this and found that it's a common problem.
Anyone willing to advise on a solution?
I understand that there's a repair kit for the manifold, anyone here who's done this before willing to help?
I'm in west London but can travel a reasonable distance.
    Thanks

Anyone here willing to do it?
I've never done it, so I would prefer to let someone with more knowledge to fix it.

there are loads of posts on here -
the control arms have an updated end on them - i replaced mine with Audi parts, about £15 each from memory, about 5 years ago with no issues since.
Well i say that, one of the controllers itself is now playing up so i am going to get them mapped out.

    I think I've sorted it.
The intake manifold rod was disconnected at the bottom.
I reconnected it and the engine management light disappeared.
I let you know if it happens again.
I wonder how it came off because it took quite some force to push it back into the small retaining ball.
I wonder if those cowboys at Audi have something to do with it because after they changed the air filter (courtesy service after an accident) they "forgot to close the jubilee clips on the big intake hose just in the same spot.

Well, no, I'm not getting exited, but at least I know what it is for sure.
Are there 2 of those rods?
I can only see one from the top.

So the first one which had popped out is visible and accessible.
    What about the other one?
Is it a matter of dismantling half of the car or just a few bits covering it?
