Starting to have some electrical gremlins. Cant really complain as my 2002 A4 B6 1.8T AVJ is 20 years old. I had a cam positioning sensor error which was caused by the wiring at the plug end of the CCT. In looking up the connector the part number is 443 906 232. I can find the connector ok but there are no repair kits with pigtails to splce in.
Anyone if there is such a repair part?

Thank you for your comments. Anything that can help would be appreciated.

The repair wires are a separate item that fits many different plugs. These should fit that one:

    • 000 979 133: 1.0 sq.mm wire, flat contact 2.8mm (optional suffixes A = Gold plated, B = High temperature, AB = both)
    • 000 979 225: 2.5 sq.mm wire, flat contact 2.8mm (optional suffix A)
    • 000 979 217: 2.5 sq.mm wire, flat contact 3.5mm

The cam sensor on this model shares its 5v feed with boost pressure sensor & the brake servo pressure sensor & is earthed via pin 3 to ecu pin no 108 Curious to know how you checkedout connector plug

    Hi Mickeybo,

The cam positioning sensor was replaced with a Bosch one about 3 months ago. This did not resolve the issue. Kept the old one as hall sensors rarely go bad. Funny enough I was checking all the connections related to that problem. When I checked the CCT solonoid i found thet one of the 2 wires had a break in it. Temporally spliced it , cleared the codes and have not had a problem since. Simple trouble shooting. Being as both my front door harnesses had to be repaired, Tropran Kit, I realized that a 20 year old harnes would have some wear and tear. Being as that connector is on the back of the engine I realised that the engine heat would probably be a major contributing case of the failure. I have ordered 5 replacement pig tails from my local dealer as the Injector plugs are the same.
