Windshield rain sensor

I have a problem with the automatic wipers. When I activate them, they work only in intervals and the speed does not change when it rains. When I activate them and it's not raining, the wipers still work at the set interval.I don't see any changes to the sensor, and the light sensor works fine.
What should I check?

If you carry out an auto scan it will interrogate all the car's controllers, this is important as they are all CN BUS lin ked and a fault in a seemingly unconnected controller can affect others.
