Hello, I used to be in here years ago when I had an A4 B5 tdi.

I have rejoined as I have no idea of my old screen name or login. I’m back with another B5, this one is a 1.8 petrol. It’s in very condition for a X reg.

If that is same or similar to what our 96 / P-reg A4 would have been then I have to agree. Loved it. Always felt I got a great deal from Wimbledon Audi just because it looked so good.

We had a 97 20v Avant in that colour, it was absolutely immaculate and we used it as a loan car, drove beautifully. Due to it sitting outside, water got in and damaged the optional and rare at that time passenger side air bag impact sensor; this has been obsolete for 5 years and we could not get one anywhere except Audi Tradition who wanted €500 but would not send to the UK because of Brexit, I dare not bodge it out of circuit as if a customer had an accident and someone suffered because the air bag did not deploy, we would be up **** creek so we had to scrap it.
